Azita Ghanizada. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has appeared in many television programs. She is an American actor from Afghanistan who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth her family, they moved towards in the US. She was given asylum and allowed to stay. She was raised by her two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada made her debut in the field of TV through a handful of National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in the Laura Neri's film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For her performance, she was nominated during the Festival of Cannes for the Best Actress Award. The actress was an actor in a variety of TV shows, such as How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Most recently, she played an supporting role in Blood Shot (2009). In addition, she appeared as an independent comedian on You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was first seen in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a physician who is a specialist in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada was a part of Kelly who was a Prada Sales Girl on HBO Entourage during 2009.
